EA FC 25 TOTY RELEASE SCHEDULE
Ultimate Team 25 TOTY has a position-based release schedule that will deliver new content through the end of January 2025. Let’s look at the key facts.
Key dates and timeline
TOTY voting ran from January 6th through January 13th. The main event kicked off with the TOTY Warmup on January 14th, and from now on (starting January 17th) you can expect a two-week rollout of promotional content. Also, keep in mind that the TOTY promotion runs through January 31, 2025.
Position-based releases explained
The main TOTY teams are centered around specific positions prior to their release. Each position has its own release time:
- January 17 – TOTY Attackers release,

On that note, Cole Palmer makes a surprise appearance with his 95-rated card, while Virgil van Dijk looks like one of Ultimate Team’s most dominant center-backs.
The defense is also backed up by the 95-rated cards for William Saliba and Dani Carvajal, and 94-rated Alejandro Grimaldo and Emiliano Martínez.
Women’s TOTY team
The women’s team shines with 97-rated cards for Caroline Hansen, Sophia Smith, and Aitana Bonmati.
Lauren James and Guro Reiten boost the attack with their impressive 96-rated cards, while Alexia Putellas rules the midfield with her 96 rating.
The defense looks solid with 95-rated cards for Sakina Karchaoui and Wendie Renard. Irene Paredes, Lucy Bronze, and goalkeeper Ann-Katrin Berger complete this star-studded lineup with 94-rated selections.

The initial TOTY Icons release celebrates these legendary players:

Free special TOTY 2002 Zidane
Players who log in before February 14th will receive a special free Zinedine Zidane TOTY Era card (rated 90) that won’t be tradeable.
There’s also a special opportunity to upgrade Zidane’s card to an overall rating of 94. However, such an evolution must be started before March 13, 2025, or it will expire.
This card was added not only to please the Ultimate Team player base, but also to celebrate Zizu’s iconic performance in the 2002 Champions League Final for Real Madrid.
Special TOTY Objectives
Daily rewards are the foundation of TOTY special Objectives. Players who complete the TOTY Daily Play Games Completionist Objective receive an 86+ x3 Rare Gold Players Pack.
While Evolution rewards unlock throughout the event when you:
- Complete Daily Login SBC once,
- Finish Daily Play Objective twice,
- Unlock two Evolutions from Team of the Year Cup,
- Complete Daily Play Objective nine times,
- Accomplish TOTY Draft Objective Group.
