WHAT IS FC 25 ROAD TO THE KNOCKOUTS?

Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) is an exciting promo in EA Sports FC 25 Ultimate Team that brings the thrill of UEFA competitions to your Ultimate Team experience. RTTK introduces dynamic player cards that have the potential to improve based on their real-life club’s performance in various UEFA tournaments.

The RTTK promotion will run for two weeks, with two separate squads of players being released. The first and second RTTK squad have already been released and much like with other promos, these squads will be available in packs for yet another week (until 11 Oct 2024). 

Throughout the event, you can expect a number of Objective cards and Squad Building Challenges (SBCs) to be released on different days, adding to the excitement and opportunities for your team improvement.

Participating competitions

RTTK includes four major UEFA competitions, each with its own unique progression path for players:

  • UEFA Champions League (UCL)
  • UEFA Europa League (UEL)
  • UEFA European Conference League (UECL)
  • UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL)

It’s important to note that the 2024/25 season will see significant changes to the format of these competitions, particularly the UCL, UEL and UECL. The previous 32-team group stage has been replaced by a 36-team league stage. In this new format, each team plays a total of eight matches against different opponents, rather than the traditional home and away matches against three teams.

UPGRADE MECHANICS FOR RTTK PLAYERS

UEFA Europa Conference League

The upgrade path for UEFA Europa Conference League RTTK players is slightly different:

  1. +1 OVR upgrade: This is awarded if the player’s club wins two games in the league phase, rather than the three required for UCL and UEL players.
  2. +1 OVR and Role++ upgrade: Similar to the UCL and UEL, this upgrade is given if the player’s club scores at least one goal in four different matches.
  3. PlayStyle+ and Role++ upgrade: This final upgrade is awarded if the player’s club finishes in the top two of the league table, just like in the UCL and UEL.

UEFA Women’s Champions League

The UEFA Women’s Champions League RTTK players have a unique upgrade path:

HOW TO OBTAIN RTTK PLAYERS?
